Searchlight® Virtual School: Enrollment Process and Application
Important! Please review the five steps outlined on this page before submitting the Enrollment Application.
Each step contains the option for verbal instructions. To hear the instructions, click the speaker icon. To turn the instructions off, click the stop button. These verbal instructions are designed to help you with the enrollment process, and we highly recommend using them. Note: It might take about 5-7 seconds for the visual aids and audio components to load completely. Thank you for your patience!
There are two parts to the enrollment process: submitting the enrollment application and paying the processing fee. When both are complete, you will receive an e-mail confirming your enrollment, assigning your student number, and providing instructions for getting started with your online courses. Please read the section on using PayPal.
First, submit the enrollment application:
Click the button to open the electronic enrollment form, then using the "File > Save As" menu feature, save the document to a file on your local computer.
Access the saved document, fill it out, then save it again so you have a copy for your records.
You can access the Searchlight Classes for either the Youth or Adult Division from any page in this web site.
Roll over the "Searchlight Classes" button at the top of the screen and choose the appropriate category.
Important things to know about using PayPal®:
The processing fee is paid electronically through PayPal®. (If you are submitting your enrollment form by mail, you should include a $5.00 check paid to the order of Ocean East Publishing.)
You may log in to an existing PayPal account, or set up an account and pay with a credit card.
You will be asked to create a username and password. Please make note of these, as you will need to log in to your account to purchase your SVS Subscription Plan.
PayPal will walk you through the payment procedure and process your fee payment.
PayPal will send you an e-mail confirming your payment. (You should print this for your records.)
When we receive both your enrollment form and notification that the processing fee has been paid, you will receive an email confirming your enrollment. This e-mail will assign your student number and provide further instructions to help you get started with your online courses.
